Kidney stones

Well, many things happen, especially in medical field, when people came to you and ask you, what kind of drugs you will give them?

Facts :
-most stones are from Calcium Oxalate, which can be trigerred by eating foods that are high in calcium and oxalate. (although EBM proved that normal ntake of calcium may prevent kidney stones formation), Other stones can be from uric acid, calcium phosphate, struvite, and cystine.

-drink a lot of water will prevent the stones to form.
-since Calcium Oxalate is the most causative agent, then sour sop (sirsak), and lime citrus is good to be consumed. *many EBM already proved this
-excercise always the best prevention in any kind of disease. it will prevent statis of urine and also muscle spasm.
-consume less purine (uric acid), that is high in animal protein, kidney, liver, brain, sarden. In indonesia, you may also avoid emping.
-consume normal intake of calcium which you can take in milk, swamp eel, dried shrimp, nuts, etc
-avoid high oxalate food : cola, chocolate, spinach
-for menopause women, high milk intake is not reccomended, since it may cause milk-alkali syndrome--> increase phosphate or calcium oxalate formation.

Fun facts : many women consume vit C which is not necessary since in their reproductive age, when estrogen is high, they have high citrate, that may prevent calcium binding to oxlate. Men should take more often. :)

-consume less
